Josnel saw the chaos that Demvora was unleashing to foil law and light and investigated. Two thousand years later, the Bane War began as he invaded Navia, throwing all Heaven’s resources and technological might in the war effort.

When the conflict reached a stalemate, he offered to end the carnage, conjuring a contract to ensure Navia and Heaven remained forever apart, if Demvora sacrificed herself to a Netherseal. After the ritual, now barred from Navia, he wages his battles throughout other realms to enforce his law and order.

Josnel uses propaganda and pawns to achieve his objectives, tools more effective than magic, seeking to snuff out Ishethra’s networks of freedom fighters.
